- Joshua St. Pierre lives in Alberta, Canada and has published on stuttering and communication both academically and non-academically. He holds a PhD in philosophy, and uses his experience of stuttering to explore the normalization and exclusion of particular communicative bodies, practices, and subjects within political economies. He enjoys reading, gaming, and playing with his dog Scholar.
- Erin Schick lives in New York City where they are currently pursuing a masters degree in Social Work. They have a B.A. in Sociology and hope to work as an advocate for disabled youth. Erin understands the world through writing, because it's a voice that can't be silenced. Other interests include: women's soccer, dinosaurs, trains, and coffee.
- Jacquelyn Revere knew she wanted to be an actor from the time she pointed at the television while watching Sesame Street and yelled "Mommy! I wanna do what those kids are doing." Ever since then she has been on a roller coaster to confidence, self realization and acceptance of herself and her speech. Originally from Los Angeles, California, she now resides in New York City where she has become very involved with the stuttering community and educating the public on stuttering awareness.
- David Kramer lives in Boston, Massachusetts and recently got a B.A. in Psychology and Criminology. He is looking forward to becoming more involved in the stuttering community and is interested in pursuing a career in writing, research, and activism on stuttering in a cultural context.
- Doreen (Dori) Lenz Holte is Mom to 18-year-old Elias, a young man who has stuttered since he was 2 ½ years. After six years of research and reflection on their own journey, Dori published Voice Unearthed: Hope, Help, and a Wake-Up Call for the Parents of Children Who Stutter. Dori was recognized with the “Unsung Hero” award by the International Fluency Association for her efforts to help parents and speech therapists gain a broader perspective around the impact of speech therapy on children who stutter.
- Emma Alpern grew up in Pennsylvania and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she works in the publishing industry. She is a fan of
stuttering communities, the National Stuttering Association conference and support groups, and stuttering activism. She has blogged about her speech at stuttermore.tumblr.com.
- Cheryl Green, MFA, MS integrates degrees in performing arts and speech-language pathology to explore how story can be used to break down stigma and barriers. She creates media from personal narrative to create dynamic, artistic tools for cross-disability justice. She is on the board of Disability Art and Culture Project.
- Charis St. Pierre does not stutter. Charis lives in Edmonton, Alberta, where she spends her days answering phones and her nights writing stories. She has been helping with the behind-the-scenes side of Did I Stutter ever since her husband, Josh, co-founded it.
- Elias K is an elementary educator who holds a Masters in education from SUNY Albany with certificates in general education, mathematics education, special education, and soon gifted education. He resides in upstate New York with his partner and 2 cats. As an undergrad at Rutgers he studied creative writing and he plans to spend his summers writing about his experiences as a teacher who stutters.
- Christopher Constantino lives in Memphis, Tennessee where he is a PhD candidate at the University of Memphis and a speech-language pathologist at Shelby County Schools. His research interests include the discursive and material production of disability, the therapeutic process, and the facilitation of agency. Chris enjoys riding his bicycle.
- Nina G is a stand up comedian, professional speaker and author. She travels the country performing at comedy clubs, colleges and corporate events. She is the author of a children’s book titled, Once Upon An Accommodation: A Book About Learning Disabilities, that helps children and adults advocate for their rights as a person with a Disability. Nina's one person show, Going Beyond Inspirational, which is a comical exploration about growing up with Learning and Speech Disabilities debuted in 2015 and was featured CBS San Francisco Local. She is also the producer and performs on the first ever comedy compilation of all comedians with disabilities, featuring the Comedians with Disabilities Act titled Disabled Comedy Only (CD Baby). - Elizabeth Wislar is a person who stutters and a teacher of students with disabilities. Most of her life was spent in southern Wisconsin and Chicago, but she now lives in Athens, Ga with her husband and daughter.
